Hadhrat Sheik Abdurrahim Reyhan Erzincani is one of the greatest sufi sheiks of our time. Born in Keleriç, Erzincan, Turkey in 1930, Hadhrat Abdurrahim Reyhan was surrounded by the love of his father Hüseyin Efendi and his mother Tubi Hatun, and the teaching and wisdom of his grandfather, Sheik Besir Efendi. After 68 years of service to Islam and humanity, Hadhrat Abdurrahim Reyhan passed away in 1998.

Hadhrat Abdurrahim Reyhan is the member of the Golden Chain of the Naqshibandi Halidiyya tariqa. He was the mureed and follower of the exalted Hadhrat Sheik Dede Pasha and carried his teachings to succeeding generations of disciples. Hadhrat Abdurrahim Reyhan has hundred thousands of followers all over the world spreading his great teachings of Islam and sufism to others.

Sufi and Sufism is generally understood to be the inner, mystical dimension of Islam. A practitioner of this tradition is generally known as a Sufi. Classical Sufi scholars have defined Sufism as "a science whose objective is the reparation of the heart and turning it away from all else but Allah." Or "a science through which one can know how to travel into the presence of the Divine (Allah), purify one’s inner self from filth, and beautify it with a variety of praiseworthy traits (noble character traits of Allah or Hadhrat Muhammad (SAW))".
